In doing the Conversations with P'taah this month (Burning Questions), I realized that there are many questions people have. Perhaps they are questions only for P'taah, but I would like to invite anyone who has a question to feel free to post it here.
In talking with others about a question or problem, sometimes the answer becomes more clear to me. I have the answer already of course, but the sharing of the question can help not only me, but others too.
So if you feel inclined, please feel free to place your question on this board. Questions are always enjoyable, whatever they may be.
My heart was touched by the love and energy that surrounded you as you started this post. I had a foster mother growing up that would say, "If you have the right question you will always have the right answer."
She used to drive me nuts trying to figure out what the "Right" question was. So I asked her one day what the right question was. Her response was, "The one you are not afraid to also see is the answer you needed inside you. Questions are like mirrors, the question and answer will always face themselves.
Well that was what seems a life time ago. You see I have been searching for an answer for a friend of mine lately and your post took me down memory lane so to speak. I got my answer as the question reworded itself inside me. This time there was no fear of seeing.
I find I often do not post in here even when I am drawn to share because most of my writing are inspired stories used as a way of teaching. Because of the work I do, and the writing that come forth I sometimes find I am between a rock and a hard place so to speak. Because the guide lines state not to post copy written material, I step back, send love and healing and do not share what has come to me.
I have so enjoyed this site and with much love sit here on the proverbial side lines offering unseen respect, and energy as needed. This is now ok for me, knowing and understanding there must be guidelines to maintain the focus desired.
I woke from a dream the other day with one of these inspired writings I titled Spirit's Face. The same day your post came out. What happened was I stood beside myself and got to see both sides of this thing we call a question. What I found was.....
Maybe its not the questions many are struggling with but what to do with the answers they also have inside them.
I do not know whether this seems to you to be an appropriate question but I wonder whether Ptaah could speak about the oil spill in the gulf of Mexico.
I think there may be many who stop by here, and who maybe don't post for whatever reason, yet they would like to do so.
While there is a rule that copyrighted material shouldn't be posted, I don't take that to mean that we can't occasionally quote from some material we find insightful, and make comments on it. That particular rule came after a person posted an entire book on the website, and while it is a wonderful book, and the person went to quite a bit of trouble to type it all up, it was considered a copyright enfringement.
I've quoted relevant pieces on the board, and it's been fine, so feel free to do so too. Or, people can be directed to a particular web page of relevance too.
You had a very wise foster mom it sounds like. I love the idea of the question and answer always facing themselves. Very wise.
And interesting what you say about it's not so much about the questions but rather the answers people have inside them. I suppose with the answers, we can simply sit with them, and let them come forward at whatever time they are needed. As with all wisdom, when the time is right, it is shared.
I have forwarded your questions to Mickey, who is the person who manages this website, for her to include in the burning questions for P'taah. These are asked occasionally during the monthly "Conversation With P'taah" cd's that are done. Hopefully she can include that in one of the upcoming discussions with P'taah.
The purpose of this thread when I wrote it, was to have people ask questions of others here on the board, where a person might like some input from others here, so that they can obtain a few different perspectives on a problem perhaps, or gain a different viewpoint from additional information others might have.
But your question has been sent to Mickey. If you have any question you'd like others to comment on, please post again! ;~D
Well, number 1 What is Love? has been tried by many to define, and because love is truly unlimited, and because words ARE limited, any definition falls short of the real thing.
But it's always fun to see how people answer that question. I try to keep my answer short on that one, like "Pure, unconditional caring" or "Compassion of the heart", or something along those lines. But maybe someone here could add to that and make it better.
What is vulnerability - another good question. I would say it is being authentic. In other words, not hiding anything and just sitting with whatever is going on with you and being honest about it and willing to show it to others.
P'taah has said that there is great power in being vulnerable, and I think I understand that. When we're vulnerable, we're showing what might be considered by others as a weakness, yet our courage in showing it is most usually admired by others who observe us being vulnerable.
That admiration of a person being vulnerable makes it safe for others to be open to showing their "weaknesses" (vulnerability) and from this they can gain new perspectives and grow. There is a lot of power in that. Not only are you admired for being vulnerable, but you are also being the example for others, so that people learn not to hide and deny their feelings. That is a pretty valuable asset I would say.
I'd love to hear what others have to say in answer to these questions.
Today is Friday in the U.S. and I send you all warm wishes for a beautiful day.
I remember P'taah saying enlightenment is about accepting every facet of us. It is loving everybody and everything. I would maybe ask him are we supposed not to judge even those people who are responsible for the death of millions of people? I guess the answer would be yes allthough it looks quite insane to me. I remember him also saying that nobody is a victim. So the millions of people who died have chosen this in their life and are probably thankful for this co-creation :)):((
