What is a relationship? I asked myself the other day...And the answer came upon time. It got clerarer and clearer...It is one of the ways of growing...It is not the intent to fill the emptiness inside - which is for me the opposite of growing-, it is not the search for love we believe to have lost but it is a way to learn and become more. It is -if used with the intent of growth and not with the try to fill the emptiness inside- or at least it can be a great teacher for us...It doesn't have anything to do with "falling in love" but it is walking together and offering love, passion and understanding to the partner...This is what relationships are made for I thought to myself...the other day...
And can a relationship also be with other things? Can we not have a relationship with our home? a website? our checking account? the tax collector? a cat?
In my experience, any relationship is there as a reflection to us for learning and growing, as you say. I agree - they are definately a way to become more.
Relationships are there for the forgiveness lessons they provide. So that we can eventually learn that there is really nothing that needs to be forgiven after all.
