Good morning readers. It seems that 'ego' has a negative meaning in our conversations. Something to overcome, suppress, get rid of, etc. P'taah doesn't have that take as I remember.
The only reference that I have highlighted for my own understanding is:
"It is not, as we have said to you, to annihilate the ego. It is not to think of the personality self as something to overcome. It is not so. That which is the ego is there to serve you. The brain is there to serve you. The personality self is made up of what is called the tapping into the morphogenetic resonance, the collective consciousness of humanity." "Transformation of the Species, Conversations with P'taah, Book II, p. 117-8."
My daughter just surprised me with this definition: "The ego is the interface between the spirit and this visible plane. It lets you react, reach out and touch this physical plane."
I am interested in your understanding on this subject?
Much love to each of us as we expand our awareness together.
When the ego becomes the ally, the merging energy to assist us on the path we are on, there is a unity that does not fight itself for control.
Many believe they have to fight, or kill the ego which adds to the self distruction, or the forgetting who we are.
The ego's wish is for a job to do. When left on its own the ego becomes as a fire out of control because the ego must do something.
Much like the leaves said to the tree, "I can add beauty, shelter, insight, and life to the cause, or I can fall, and create my own sense of being."
There is an inner sillness, depth to the soul, unshakable love, and peace that is tangable, and real when the ego becomes the ally, as we are then able to see our own reflection with a greater clarity.
"the personality self is made up of what is called the tapping into the morphogenetic resonance, the collective consciousness of humanity."
Then, I think one of the service area of ego is helping us to understand the 3D realities and diversities. I would say that it is a facilitator. Both Reese's daughter and aireal had interpreted beautifully and its rightful harmonious realm. Thank you!
