I wonder how many BB readers read the "Weekly Quote" on this BB. It's just to the left under this title. If you take time to write your opinion on this BB, please consider reading messages from P'taah. After all, this is P'taah's BB.
Here I am again, same day, about an hour later. This mornings read, "Act of Faith", Pages 59-60:
"Q: P'taah, could you just explain to me how we best enter the state of being?
"P'taah: Dear one, I am very happy to speak of it. To be a human being, not a human doing, eh? (The audience laughs) This is not an original phrase.
"To live in every now moment in the fullness, that is what we are saying. Not to be so engrossed in your past and to be so worried about your future that you do not live life now. How do I tell you how you may be more still? How you may be less in judgment? How you may be less in expectation, but rather in expectancy? How you may be like the dolphin, like the child, in the wonderment of your nows?
"Well, we would say it takes practice. But you may catch yourself being engrossed in your past and engrossed in the worry about your future. Then it is simply to say, "There I am again" and to say, "But what am I doing now?"
"Little by little it becomes easier for you and it is not to worry and it is not to judge yourself. It is merely to catch yourself sometime. As you do so, you may say, "I am so busy thinking about the future. Now I will simply be."
"Is this of assistance?"
Reese again. I can testify that this works for me!!
Much love to each of us as we become aware of who we really are.
It's good to see this BB taking P'Taah's teachings "out for a test drive" so to speak. It is nice to focus on what he is saying and expand upon it with our own personal observations/insights!
I enjoy your positive postings Reese , keep it up!
Thanks for that lovely quote Reese. One thing about reading P'taah - there is always the feeling of Love. The added bonus is the realization of Truth in his teachings. The two combined (Love and Truth) are quite a perfect recipe for transformation.
I liked it also very much when I just re-read it. For me it mostly takes time until I really understand the beauty of the quotes of P'taah. Thank you very much for sharing Reese...
I too thank you. I have been reading and digesting the last 2 pages on this BB as I have been away awhile. As I said in another post I experienced a range of emotions and challenges. I feel that what P'Taah has to say here applies to most of the issues raised in the last few threads and sheds light on the predicament (shared by many, if not all of us to some degree) that Arthur bought up in his posts This potion needs to be repeated (It is thru much repetition that we finally learn and embrace and make our own)
PTaah: "To live in every now moment in the fullness, that is what we are saying. Not to be so engrossed in your past and to be so worried about your future that you do not live life now. Good advice and technique--- how many of us will use it and practice it??
AS some have said P'Taah's words are given to us; we need but to READ them and DO IE PRACTICE them, then we will be surprised how our lives change as well as our viewpoint on how things are (because we have experienced something of the magic that is our true reality)- we have just become blind to it and need to see the light. Life has a way of giving us a big 'push' in the right direction thru our many 'stories' and illusions we seem to like to cling to.
With love Dennis
