Dear Members,
While it's certainly not absolutely necessary to know a lot about P'taah to participate in this Community Forum, you will probably find it useful to become familiar with his teachings and simple recipes.
You can find everything you need right here on this site for free, especially the transcripts and the archived newsletters. There are also three P'taah books, a wealth of CDs, MP3s, audiotapes, a new DVD, the Morning Songs, and other resources for sale in the Catalog.
To make certain we don't end up as a dysfunctional family, we do have some helpful hints and a few ground rules posted below and wonderful moderators who make sure they're followed.
Also, we've had to delete far too many spammers from our data base and are instituting a new policy of prevention. Newcomers to the board have to be approved before they can post. Our apologies to real people who only want to share. Hopefully that process will go quickly and smoothly. If your application seems to be hung up, just use the Contact Us form to ask what's going on.
Also, until you are approved, you won't be able to sign in. It's going to tell you that either your name or password are incorrect. That message goes away once you get the email that your application has been reviewed and approved.
It is my great pleasure to make this website and especially the Community Forum available to each and every one of you.
Have fun!
Namaste,
Mickey

HELPFUL HINTS FOR USE AND NAVIGATION
- The message board is made up of threads (topics and their discussions) and posts (individual messages).
- Threads containing the newest postings are listed first. The posts within each thread are in chronological order, with the newest posts at the bottom.
- While posts can be read by anyone, you must register to have posting access. To register, click on the Register button at the top right hand corner of the Community Forum page and follow the instructions.
- To reply to a post, click the Post Message button located at the top and bottom of each thread.
- To start a new topic, click on the Start a New Topic button on the main Community Forum page. Many times, though, you will find an existing topic that is the perfect place to contribute your thoughts. Topics with a large number of posts are the faster moving threads and will therefore often contain the most active discussions.
- This is a P'taah message board and our purpose is to give like-minded people a safe space to share their experiences with P'taah and his teachings. We know that you sometimes run across other material that you want to discuss, and that is fine.
- Please allow everyone to understand P'taah in his/her own way. The web site contains a Newsletter Archive and Selected Transcripts where you can find much valuable information from P'taah himself.
- Re-read what you have written before clicking the Post button. Words that make perfect sense in your head often lack 'tone' when typed. If you are not sure how your post will be heard, think twice before posting it.
- Be concise. Short, focused posts are much more likely to be read than longer, rambling ones. And remember that members of this forum come from all over the world. Proper punctuation and spelling make your posts easier to read. Posts that are typed entirely in CAPITAL LETTERS on the internet are considered shouting and very rude.
- Threads will be stored on the site for six months.
GROUND RULES
What follows are our ground rules. They are printed here to assist all members and remind us of good community behavior.
- We ask that you respect all other board participants (no inappropriate language) and try to remain non-judgmental, allowing others their viewpoints and understandings. P'taah reminds us that everything is valid and guides us to always keep our focus on love, not fear.
- Posts that contain threats will not be tolerated. Those posts will be removed immediately and, as a precaution, reported to the proper authorities. The person posting the threat also will lose his/her membership on the board.
- People learn the most when we are willing to share ourselves and our experiences, but use appropriate discretion. The internet is open to all and posts here can be viewed by the public.
- Marketing links are not appropriate and posts containing them will be deleted.
- Members who ignore the above requests will first be warned. If the behavior continues, they will be asked to leave the Community Forum.
